Yes I actually looked outside this morning at the 5inches of snow and made an executive decision to wear my snow boots. The only pair of pants that works with the snow boots are my blue Jeans, so   Sorry Mr. Appraiser that I did not meet you in business attire but I knew the property we were meeting at is vacant and no-one had shoveled the snow from the driveway and path to the front door.   Sorry Mr. Contractor you did not have to witness me sinking into the wet cold snow in my heels as we assessed the damage to the window frame as a result of the home inspection. Jeans were just far more practical.   Sorry I showed up in my jeans for my client who insisted on viewing the 3 acre farmette and all of the additional buildings on the property too. York County Pennsylvania here !   Great artical !   We've been watching a buyer's market for so long, we've almost forgotten how to see the signs of the building of a seller's market. Keep in mind, a seller's market slowly builds (over months) while a buyer's market can hit overnight. While the National Association of Realtors announced sales of resale homes jumped more than 10 percent nationally in October 2009 over a year earlier - those numbers are not the numbers to watch while you're trying to find the bottom of your local market.
