Looking for a great park in Ellicott City? I am sure not many people have heard of Cypressmede Park tucked away in Valley Mede in the 21042 zip code. Probably the best kept secret in the area. I happened upon it quite recently myself. It's a delightful space in a residential community that may not be very big, but has plenty of facilities. Amongst the mature trees you will find tennis courts, a basketball court, a racquetball court, a baseball diamond, walking trails and a really cool playground- (I'm a Mum of a 5 year old, I know what a really cool playground looks like).
