  I want to share with you a place that you will want to visit right here in Harford County.  I happened to receive an invitation to attend a business networking event at Bliss, Coffee and Wine Bar in Belcamp.  Since I am all about networking I eagerly attended.  This place was nothing at all like I expected.  It is upscale, beautifully decorated with a relaxing atmosphere.  Bliss opened in May and has already established a regular following.  Sarah Oritz-Brown and Claudio Brown, the owners, couldn't have been more welcoming and charming.  They made me feel as if I was visiting in their own home.  Not only can you sample wines and beers from all over the world, but they also serve lunch and dinner in their intimate dining area that seats 36.  The food is amazing and the menu is so uniqu...

Our little known secret in Harford County is Belcamp Maryland.  Nestled between Abingdon and Aberdeen, Belcamp has around 6100 residents and is filled with townhomes, single family homes, and condominiums.  Once the home to a Bata Shoe factory, the area where the old building is now a sprawling office and condo location.  There are many industrial areas in Belcamp due to its location close to I 95 and easy access to shoping and hotels.Belcamp has properties priced from around 175,000 up to around 400,000 for the most part.  This area is sometimes referred to as Riverside by the locals.  The next time your in Harford County, stop by and visit, I guarantee you it won't take you long to see everything there.

BRAC-Base Realignment And Closure-is a fancy way of saying the government established a committee and the committee filed a report to the Prez (in mid 2005) recommending the restructuring and/or closings of domestic military bases. As a result, many members of the military (and subsequent government employees) are going to be relocating all over the nation. We're gearing up for the effects of BRAC here in Harford County, MD since the Aberdeen Proving Ground is situated here and is a major employer in our area.
