I'm psychic -- my husband might say I'm psycho, but that's a whole different post. I'm like, um, Carnac the Magnificent (am I dating myself, or what?) because I see yet another Addendum being added to our already overwhelming Residential Contract of Sale. Let's see, we already have upwards of 30 plus pages (contract and assorted addendae) that we need to explain in detail to our deer-in-the-headlights-looking clients and now it'll be 30 plus plus.   Did you hear about the buyer that is suing the seller of an Arizona home the buyer bought nearly three years ago because the buyer felt the seller should have disclosed to him that the property was located next to a psycho?  No, not a psychic -- like me (because that might be kinda nice, if you really think about it) but a psycho.  Allegedly...

 I have talked to several agents who left $60k-$80k year jobs in 2004 to practice real estate. We are officially in a declining market, causing new agents to experience a high level of frustration. Some appear to be very angry. On the other hand, I have had conversations with realtors who have been in the business for 10+ years. They feel the less agents we have the more business for each agent still able to remain active. We must come together as agents & encourage one another to keep the faith & strive in this declining market. CONSUMERS PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THE MEDIA'S NEGATIVITY REGARDING WHEN & WHY YOU SHOULD PURCHASE A HOME. ASK YOUSELF IF THIS IS A BUYERS MARKET, WHY SHOULD YOU WAIT TO BUY.

I am a full time loan officer, although I know a lot of part time loan officers that do mortgages as a second job. I am writing to get everyone's input on this and what they think of the situation. As a loan officer, I deal with a few part time real estate agents. Ones that range from the best in the business (Part time or Full time) to ones that think they are going to sell real estate to make a quick buck and never put in the time or effort it takes to succeed. On my way dropping off my youngest to pre-school earlier today, I noticed a neighbor setting up for the big night -- or should I say FRIGHT?. I just had to stop and snap a few photos.   It was already beginning to be a SPOOKTACULAR event.   I mean they were really getting into the SPIRIT of things.   I wish you all could have seen the entire effect at night. It was unbelievable -- music (MJ's Thriller, of course!), lights bouncing off everthing, smoke (the entire block was cloudy, seriously...).  It was great!    Sorry I couldn't capture it for ya'll but my girls wouldv'e slapped me silly if I concentrated on anything other than assisting them in getting enough candy to last them through the year and beyond.
