The Budweiser Clydesdale horses returned to historic Annapolis yesterday. It's a popular Holiday tradition before the annual military bowl that draws quite the crowd.For all who are not familiar with my home state, Annapolis is our state capital and home to the Naval Academy. It was also the temporary capital of the United States when the Treaty of Paris was signed in 1783.Wit its rich history, you can possibly imagine how charming downtown is with quaint shops lined along Main Street down to Ego Alley, and very special Real Estate. It is the perfect backdrop to host the Budweiser Clydesdale horses! This year, they returned to the original route along West Street and around Church Circle. The Dutch Colonial architectural style dates back to the 1600s and saw a revival in the early 1900s. Among its most striking characteristics is the double-pitched roof that is wide and flat and seemingly suddenly changes its angle. It often incorporates dormers, and is also referred to as a barn roof.
