  Hey all, South Boston, as you probably know is a very popular place these days.  It's popularity sustained and grew from it's proximity to Boston but from social standpoint it had two very popular bars that young professionals went to, The Playwright and Boston Beer Garden. These places were always happening all throughout the week and daytime to grab lunch or afternoon drinks.  These places remind me of the Joshua Tree in NYC and Somerville MA...Great bar food, plenty of new flat screen's too watch games, music playing at the night and plenty of libations to be consumed.  Just this year two more bar/restaurants have open up by the World Trade Center Building.  You could technically call this the Seaport not South Boston but it is certainly walkable for someone.  Maybe not after sever... 08/10/2010
