The sales of Plymouth MA homes and real estate may just be poised to take a turn for the better.  This is a brief follow up to my last blog in November 2013 on our local nuclear power plant in Plymouth.  Federal regulators have placed Pilgrim Nuclear power plant on a list with 15 other underperforming nuclear reactors in the country. The decision from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) stems from a rapid shutdown — called an unplanned scram — of Pilgrim last August when pumps feeding water from Cape Cod Bay to the nuclear reactor failed because of electrical problems with NStar. The decision will result in mandatory new inspections of the nuclear plant by the NRC in the coming months.
