As the leaves are falling from the trees, it’s time for another update on what’s happening in the real estate market here in Medford, MA. Since most people are looking to buy or sell either a single family, a condo or a multi family home, I’ve separated out what’s happening in each of these markets. As you can see, there are very similar numbers of properties for sale, however, there are many more single family homes under agreement than multi family homes and even fewer condos under agreement. Overview The Old Medford High Condominiums was completed in 1896. Throughout the years it had multiple additions including the north and south wings, which were built in 1929 and 1939 respectively. The building is built with red brick with stone details. The school remained open until 1971 when the new Medford High School was completed. The Station Landing area offers waterfront views which are in walking distance of restaurants, entertainment, shopping and services.    The Lawrence Estate is a nice area of Medford; known for its quiet streets and many trees. The three major roads in this area consist of Lawrence road, Governors Avenue, and South Boarder road.
