RE/MAX Executive Realty had their annual awards meeting today. This was a big day for Lorraine Kuney. Lorraine was recognized for an accomplishment that only a small fraction of RE/MAX agents every achieve. Lorraine was awarded the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award.This is an award that is granted to real estate agents when they have earned a total of $3,000,000 in commissions.What a great achievement for every real estate agent who is fortunate enough to have earned that magnitude of income. Lorraine has earned it as of 2015, and she deserves to be recognized and congratulated for her efforts.I know what it takes to receive that award. I continually think about where business is coming from; and recently, much of it has stemmed from “Facebook.”  I’ll honestly admit that I was never a fan of Facebook for business, but I’ve become addicted!! My personal page is the page I use, and it’s worked very well for me and for those for whom I market.  I’m continually preaching to them to share my posts about their accomplishments on their Facebook sites. My favorite, but very catchy, marketing saying is “the eye buys;” and whether one is marketing resales or new construction, it applies.  More often than not, listing agents who market new construction have only an architectural front elevation to post for a photo.  Presales with that type of marketing are very difficult.  Buyers have a difficult time imagining what the home will look like beyond the sketch.
