Our Homearama Home 2012 new construction home being built by award-winning Paragon Homes is coming along nicely!  As you can see in the photo, the great room is being painted a beautiful Eggplant color. This was chosen by a designer who also wins awards, so he knows what he is talking about. I think this is a bold choice and I love it! I can't wait to see it with all the furnishings and finished decor.  I heard someone say that the color was a "Barney purple." My husband would laugh at this because years ago whenever I wore purple he'd say I was trying to look like Barney. ;) Technically, this is not Barney purple because that purple has more magenta in it.  Homearama is a tour of new homes, and will be held this year July 14-29, 2012.
