Fellow Active Rainer Brad Andersohn just wrote a blog about wanting to catch a hummingbird in flight.  Well, while I have caught some hummingbirds in flight and indeed it was a thrill, I would rather be able to say I have sold a million  dollar home, which I am sure Brad being in California can say he has done many times over (Congrats Brad!!)While I was waiting at a home for my buyer to show up, the hummingbird feeder by the front door caught my attention.  I grabbed my camera and walked toward the hummingbirds that were around it.  Brad was right that they are extremely fast.  However, these photos were taken after they had taken off and I found an observation point where I could go undetected.  One returned and these were just some of the shots I got.Sure enough the hummingbirds came... 05/19/2007
