Benton Central High School Lady Bison in IHSAA girls state basketball finals! The Lady Bison defeated defending state  AAA champs Fort Wayne Concordia by a score of 42-39 in last week's Elkhart Semi-state. Benton Central will take a 20 game win streak into the state finals on Saturday against Evansville Memorial which has a 27-1 record.  The Bison sport a 23-1 record with their only defeat belonging to McCutcheon in the JC Hoops Classic. Benton Central last played for the state championship in 1989.
