Kick in the holidays with the Crown Point Indiana annual tree lighting ceremony on Friday, November 16th at 5:30 pm. The event will take place on the east side of the old Crown Point courthouse.  Harmony Handbells and the Crown Point Choir will be performing. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided by Wittenburg Lutheran Village. Anyone familiar with Crown Point is familiar with the tank that sits on the corner of Main St. and Goldsborough St..  The tank is lit up every year during the holidays in remembrance of U.S. troops past and present.
