Glenview Il Real Estate is very popular in July of 2015 as compared to this time last year. There is a 26.1% gain in new property for sale, 28.1% more closed sales of homes and condos and what is really fantastic is 38.4% more property on the market for sale as compared to this time last year. The homes are available and they are selling. At the present time there are 257 single family homes for sale in Glenview IL, 118 properties under contract and waiting to close and in the last 30 days, 65 houses have closed and are now sold. In the condo scene we have 98 condominiums for sale in Glenview and 57 properties under contract and waiting to close. In the last 30 days we have 33 condos that have closed and are now sold. May 2015 sales were at their lowest level compared to May of 2014 and 2013. May YTD sales of 264 are running -6.4% behind last year's year-to-date sales of 282.  The Median Sales Price in May was $455,000, down -0.9% from $458,955 in May of 2014 and up 19.0% from $382,500 last month. The Average Sales Price in May was $540,190, up 0.5% from $537,647 in May of 2014 and up 14.1% from $473,313 last month. May 2015 ASP was at highest level compared to May of 2014 and 2013. April 2015 sales were at their lowest level compared to April of 2014 and 2013. Glenview IL Boy Scouts Troup 57 Pancake Benefit We had a wonderful time yesterday, Sunday April 19th at the Glenview IL Boy Scouts Troop 57 Pancake Benefit Breakfast. We went there at 9:00AM and the Boy Scouts served us a great breakfast that I truly enjoyed. There was a raffle and many people were coming in and out after Church and enjoyed the excellent food provided to us. Many local sponsors donated items for the raffle and a good time was had by all. These community events are really special and something we always try to attend.Glenview IL is about a 20 minute drive west from Evanston IL and an excellent community to visit. I always see people I know and get to talk about my favorite subject, they ask me "How is the Real Estate Market doing"? I never let a chance slip away to share...
