Avondale Golf and Tennis Club - March 2009 Dates to Remember..... See you there!                       The 18-hole "Avondale" course at the Avondale Golf & Tennis Club facility in Hayden Lake, Idaho features 6,573 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 74 . The course rating is 77.8 and it has a slope rating of 142 on Blue grass.  Designed by Melvin Hueston, the Avondale golf course opened in 1968.  This tree-lined course was designed with the thinking golfer in mind. Experienced golfers will quickly learn that you don't have to use your driver on every hole. However, some of the par 4's are long, and some par 5's feature dogleg fairways.
