I have spent the past few weeks learning how to use FaceBook and I have to say - IT WORKS! Facebook is now the number 1 referrer to my brokerage site! But - there are a few things you should know about using Facebook that I have recently learned: 1) Make Lists! Remember those photos from college? Yep - they are just waiting to get posted on your FaceBook page for all your business associates to see (don't worry - there are worse photos of them running around!). It's easy to make different lists for Business Associates, Friends, Family... and that way each list only sees what you want them to...and not those embarrassing moments! Merrill Park, Eagle, Idaho From May 16-26, 2009, 600 full size flags will fly at Merrill Park in Eagle, Idaho. Appropriately named a"Healing Field of Honor", the flags honor the service and sacrifice of our military veterans, as well as current members of the military. My husband and I visited the park this morning and the massive display of beautiful American flags was a real sight to behold. It was an emotional and sobering experience to walk the rows of flags, and to read the names written on the yellow ribbons that were attached. This is the third year that the City of Eagle has hosted this event. The flags can be sponsored for $25. Once this tribute has concluded, flag sponsors can pick up their flags. My wife Lyndi and I just returned from having a wonderful time at an introductory wine tasting here in Eagle, ID. Sometimes with all the running around with the kids and with running a Real Estate Brokerage in Boise Idaho - I forget just what a spectacular place we live in. Congratulations to the track and field team from Eagle High School! The Eagle High School girls won the state track and field championship for 5A girls; while the Eagle High School boys took 2nd. Excellent work, Eagle! The boys from Capital High School in Boise took 1st place for 5A boys. Great job, Capital! I spent Thursday and Friday afternoons/evenings at the BSU stadium, watching my 2 high-school age children compete in the state finals, for which they qualified the previous week at districts. My son Nick is a senior at Eagle High School, while my daughter Gina, a freshman, goes to Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian.
