And I always wondered where my uncle heard that saying..... Today, the day after the Fourth of July... my husband had to deliver a printer to Des Moines, Iowa.. On the way up we saw signs about "The Birthplace of John Wayne" and "The Bridges of Madison County" so on the way back we took a little detour of sorts... to Madison County!
