One of the great things about living on Maui is that when you leave the island for a vacation, you get to come back home...to Maui!  I recently returned home to the island after spending the Thanksgiving holiday in California with my family.  I must first say that it was a very nice visit and I thoroughly enjoyed spending the holiday with loved ones, but boy, was it great to return back to where it was warm!  It's not like we went snow skiing up in Tahoe.  We just stayed in the bay area where the day temperature is a balmy 60 degrees with a late evening/early morning temp of the mid-30's.  That's COLD!!!  There is something about waking up in the morning comfortably barefoot and feeling the warm tropical breezes through an open window, year round, that has me extremely spoiled.I was eve... 12/04/2007
