 A Washington Place Christmas December 14, 5–8 p.m. Washington Place Foundation together with the Governor and First Lady host A Washington Place Christmas on the second Friday of December. Christmas trees and holiday decorations will be on view throughout Washington Place. 2017 showcased a choral performance by St. Andrew Cathedral Choir featuring traditional Christmas music with special songs honoring the first Christmas Open House at Washington Place in 1858.  Walk-through docent tours were again offered.  With the re-opening of the second floor, guests in 2017 were welcomed to enjoy the new galleries and exhibits featuring the life of the Queen and the Dominis family, the home's history, and the lives of the Governors in residence.  These exhibits are also now included in the Thursd... 12/11/2018
