Update on Sunset Vista, a direct beachfront Treasure island condo hotel. Most people know Sunset vistas as a great waterfront rental and vacation place but roughly 200 people have bought a condo here on the Gulf of Mexico in Treasure Island as a real estate investment property. I do not know how familiar you are with the condotel concept but in short, it allows you to rent your condo on a daily base and make a lot of rental income but does not allow you to homestead it or live in it permanently. So this concept of a "Condotel "or "Condo Hotel" is a great idea for a lot of people who always wanted to own a property right on the water but could not justify the cost of the luxury.
