New Publix opened up today, Right across the street from the Blue Heron Bridge! This is the perfect location, especially if you want to pick up something when your coming home from work. This Publix had been in the works for about 5 years and will bring work to about 100 associates. This 12 million dollar store is saving a lot of people from having to travel to Northlake to pick up there groceries. New Record Set, Surfer Rides 90ft Wave Yep you read it right, a 90 foot wave!!! Working on Singer Island, you get use to seeing the surfers. The last week or so it has been considerably windy and the waves have been causing a lot of beach erosion. When I look out at those waves, I can't imagine any one riding one, and those are probably only 8-10ft. So when I saw this, I knew I had to share it! He looks so tiny next to the wave. Garrett Mcnamara is the name of the man who set the record.
