St Petersburg Florida was my destination on Sunday and while down there I could not resist taking time to video the windsurfers out by the Skyway Bridge.     The Skyway Bridge separates Tampa Bay from the Gulf of Mexico and it is also the connection between St Petersburg, in Pinellas County, and Bradenton, in Manatee County.       As you can tell from the videos, it was a windy day, with temperatures only going up to 77 degrees......still a LOT warmer than the snowstorms hitting the Northeast! Florida's do-it-Yourself Loan Modification Process Listen to someone who has had not one but two loan modifications approved by Bank of America in the last 3 years. I have heard horror stories from people who have tried unsuccessfully to get a loan modification due to loss of household income or lack of income to repay the debt. Scuba Tank Explodes Killing St. Petersburg Diver A man carrying a scuba tank into his home died when the tank suddenly exploded. The explosion damaged the home and blew out several windows and the front door. Two witnesses inside the home were shaken but unharmed. Because scuba tanks require regular visual inspections by qualified professionals, this type of accident is fairly uncommon. An investigation into the cause is pending. Last week, a jury of community, architecture and design experts narrowed a list of 23 design teams interested in submitting plans for a new landmark Pier to nine semi-finalists.
