As you may (or may not) know, St. Lucie County has an abundance of activities available for just about every interest imaginable.  Take for example, baseball.  Our city has been home to the New York Mets spring training camp since 1989.  Since that time, people from far and wide have come to Port St. Lucie hoping to attend a game or two.  How exciting it is to know that Spring Training is just around the corner.  I heard the other day that tickets for this year's spring training went on sale on Saturday, and the first home game is scheduled for February 26th.  Ticket prices range from$6 to $25 each.  Not a bad price for an afternoon of entertainment.  The Mets Stadium (renamed Tradition Field)is located in St. Lucie West, right off of I-95.  Each time there is a game, I love to hear the... 01/19/2009
