I am saddened to report that this morning I drove by Palm-Aire Properties office to find their doors closed and nothing left inside. A note on the door says that they have in fact closed after 33 years of business and thanks there past customers for their support and business. I saved a young couple from foreclosure, last week.  What a great feeling!  We started planning about 9 months to a year ago.  They had assets that we had to retitle, wait for them to mature and then we put our plan into motion.  Durng this time they spoke to several attorneys to be sure of their position. It's the same credit as before, but with additional benefits and stipulations. $8,000 tax credit to first time homebuyers. $6,500 for repeat purchasers (those who have used previous home as principal residence for 5 of 8 previous years). Set income limits at $125,000 for single and $225,000 for joint filers. The credit is available until April 30, 2010, with a 60 day extension if binding contract is in place by April 30th. Purchase price of home must not exceed $800,000.
