December's Season of Celebrations & Sharing - Advent Lessons and Carols Benefits Waste Not Want Not The Advent Lessons and Carols Service on Sunday, December 4 at Orange Park Presbyterian Church, benefitted the Charity of Waste Not Want Not. Waste Not Want Not has grown from a few ladies volunteering almost 20 years ago, to a major force in Clay County gathering and distributing food to needy families that otherwise would be thrown away. For the second year, Frank and I sponsored this service with a donation. This is truly an ecumenical gathering, as choir members, pastors and the audience draw from churches all over the greater Jacksonville area.               So, Thanks to Active Rain! And Thank You to Jacksonville Job Corps!  I have been blogging about the Toys 4 Tots drive we have been having at my office of Watson Realty Corp at 153 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park FL 32073. We have donations coming in throughout the day! I am so excited to be a part of this. Moments ago, I received a call from Jacksonville Job Corps and their young people have been collecting for Toys For Tots and have a delivery for us next week. The director of Jacksonville Job Corps expressed to me, her appreciation for making the blog about Toys 4 Tots easy to find.
