To be perfectly honest with whoever might be reading this, this is the first time I'm writing a blog. I've heard about them, but I can't say that I fully understand what they are, and how they work. If anyone can give a very simple explanation, I'd certainly appreciate it. A little about me......I'm a REALTOR in Ocala, Florida. Ocala is located about 1-1/2 hours north of Orlando and about 40 miles south of Gainesville. The weather is terrific and it's a great place to live. Having spent over 22 years in the Fort Lauderdale area, I've found Ocala to be a refreshing change, where people are friendly, and the traffic's not bad at all.  Joe's Ocala Market Report   Home sales in November 2006 were up 1% from November 2005. The increase was 1% which is pretty great considering all the bad press we've had all year and considering 2005 was like a gold rush in this part of Florida. Perhaps more importantly, prices were up 6% over the same period. All this was in sharp contrast with the rest of the state of Florida where both prices and volume were down over the same period. The median price for an existing home rose from $163,000.00 to $172,900.00 here in Ocala. The median price for all existing homes here in Florida is $242,500.00. The only city in the state of Florida with a lower median home price than Ocala is Pensacola.

Does anyone do anything special for your clients on New Years? I would like to start off on the right foot and I am not sure what is "proper" or "expected". Can someone share with me some ideas of what to do for Clients during holiday seasons. Are there rules for this sort of thing. Thanks in advance :)
