 Beautiful and Colorful Red Silk Cotton Trees  Yesterday on my way home after showing property, I saw these beautiful and colorful red silk cotton trees along Albee Farm Road in Nokomis Florida. I thought it was a good idea for a post to share them with you all.     The red silk cotton trees are native to Southern and Eastern Asia, and Northern Australia. They like tropical to sub-tropical weather.  Mature trees may growth up to 100 feet tall. The leaves will drop in the dry season, and they will bloom between January and April.
