Ramon Rasco bought the land at the southwest corner of Miramar Parkway and Red Road from Simart LLC and San Remo Apartments Inc.Liran Friedman, land specialist with Colliers Abood Wood-Fay, represented the seller. "The sale was challenging from the standpoint that the previous owner had placed deed restrictions prohibiting the site from being developed beyond a certain size," he said. The long awaited Dolphin Bay Elementary, located on Miramar Parkway, about a mile west of Interstate 75, has finally opened to Broward County Students.  Almost 600 youngsters began classes at the permanent new campus on Tuesday, April 10, 2007.
