It might be a little to early to make a judgment on the new foreclosure prevention plan announced by the Obama administration but the little I was able to read doesn't give me much hope. The fact that the refinance part of this plan would cover those mortgages that were, at a maximum, 5% over the homes value is troubling. That would have been a great plan if this were the beginning of the crisis and not two years into it. There are communities where the values have dropped so quickly that people are 30%, 40%, 50%, and in some condo communities here in Florida it reaches 80%, below their mortgages. Don't misunderstand my point, this could help a lot of people but not nearly the amount that will be needed to help stabilize the market. Until the market stabilizes there will be no recovery. 02/19/2009

As i listened to this request yesterday I thought back to the days when this type of client would actually be able to purchase a home. In the old days a person could get a mortgage without showing much. Requirements were so eased that a crafty mortgage broker could shop this loan to a dozen sub-prime lenders and guess what?! Someone would bite! Often the Lenders would roll out the red carpet for guys like this! OK now I have a Point 2 Agent website for over two years now. And never have I noticed that I could do Brochures from this site. I always thought it was for either for Premium or Professional feature. After putting in a listing yesterday I went into some of the features to play around with, and by golly I am able to print out brochures. I would usually into my Microsoft publisher for my brochures. But this is such a LIFE SAVER!! All I have to do is go into the listing section and print out a brochure. Everything is already there since I put all info I need for the listing and it gathers all the info and places it into the brochure for you.     I'll be damn if I not use this.   You know if you stay around in this business long enough  you begin to wonder what`s going on with the human race! You try to be nice to people and they take that as a sign of weakness. You attempt to work out a solution, and rather than deal with reality,some people go into a cocoon and pretend nothing is wrong!  We have a situation with a family. The husband seems to believe he doesn`t have to pay rent, he`s made numerous excuses and made a mockery out of the entire responsibility of paying rent! They have a 4 month old baby, the landlord has been beyond patient with the tenant. Last week, the tenant was supposed to meet an associate of ours to collect the rent.
