Supersonic Aircraft Builder to Bring 100s of Jobs to the Space Coast

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Friday that a supersonic aircraft facility would be coming to the Space Coast.Aerion Supersonic, a company that is in the business of High Speed Flight, will be building a 300 million dollar campus in Melbourne, FL. The facility will be called Aerion Park, and it will serve as the companies World Headquarters.The jet, know as the AS2, will fly at speeds of about 1000 MPH. It will be a luxury alternative to current first class flight or charter jets.Aerion is expected to bring 675 jobs to the Space Coast over the next few years. These will be six figure jobs with an average above 105k. The campus should be fully operational by 2026.
