On this exterior repaint project in Indialantic there were several stucco and wood siding related repairs that I had to do before I could start painting. After I pressure washed all of the exterior surfaces to be painted on this Indialantic, Fl home, we then applied a tinted sealer to all off the surfaces (due to chalkiness and also to assure good adhesion of the finish coats). Next, I repaired several stucco cracks and spot primed those repaired areas. I have been promising my boy a dog for quite some time. I had certain requirement's...small, under 2 years old, no shedding and a rescue dog (I do not believe we should be buying dogs from puppy mills with millions of good dogs needing homes and being put to sleep). ...then Nino came along. Nino is an older (around 7 years) dog. He is medium sized (not small at all) and he sheds all the time. He is a rescue dog and because of his age he was very hard for the foster Mom to find him a home. From the end of March into September you will have a fairly easy time either watching a 3-4 foot turtle laying about 100 eggs...or about 100 3-4 inch baby turtles fighting their way into the ocean! A couple of months ago I noticed a new entry in the restaurant wars on the beachside Indialantic, FL landscape. It is called Bummi Rummi Grill and it is located in the same plaza as Starbucks directly across from the Indialantic Boardwalk. I have some good news and some bad news for this cute little place. First...the bad news: The parking lot (and really the parking situation in general) is tough for any restaurant or even Starbucks. The plaza has free parking but the City of Indialantic has metered parking throughout. People (very cheap people) constantly park in that free lot...often taking up all the spaces and forcing those who are actually looking to spend money in one of the three establishments to drive away. I recently wrote a review about the new Copperhead Tavern in Indialantic that recently opened on 5th Avenue.I wasn't terribly thrilled with the food at this new Beachside tavern, and I said so in my review.WELL,  I must really have hit a nerve!  Today I received a phone call from the owner of the Copperhead Tavern.  D'jon, (or however you spell his name) absolutely went off on me for my review.Mind you, Copperhead Tavern is the newest innovation and one of several (4 or 5) restaurants that this guy owns on the Space Coast.  I was absolutely shocked at his tone.  Instead of trying to talk to me and find out what he might be able to improve from a guest's perspective, he totally went off on me.  Luckily for me, one of our phones dropped the call and I didn't have to listen to his childish... 02/11/2014

Copperhead Tavern has opened in Indialantic.  I have previously written about eateries on the Space Coast.  One of them was City Tropics Bistro along 5th avenue.  City Tropics Bistro, if you read my blog is a nice, but tired eatery that has one of the better happy hour menus and Sunday Bunches Beachside.Well the owner of City Tropics Bistro, and several other Beachside venues has  opened another eatery at 205 5th Ave where his last restaurant (and failure) Andimao used to sit.  This new venture for Dijon (the owner) is called the Copperhead Tavern and opened on Thursday January 30th.I went in last night to meet with a couple of friends and I will say that the look of Coppperhead Tavern is nice.  The interior of the restaurant is open to 5th Avenue which is good.  Much like City Tropics ... 02/05/2014
