A lot of agents will only take a listing if it is priced right. Where does that leave us when we have a seller who is being transferred out of town and has to sell? But, they aren’t being transferred for 4-5 months and think their house is worth more than market. At least they want to try to get more than market for a month or two and after that they will reduce the price. Since we try to list everything at market, they get offended over our price and go with another agent. The other agent never communicates with them and they move out in 5 months when the house hasn’t sold. Then, the listing expires at month 6 and they list with another agent.
