I woke up this morning and the power is still on A great sign. It's past eight o'clock, and it's dark and raining, but the powers is still on. Good going, Fay. Fay came ashore at Cape Romano just south of Marco Island, about 55 miles south of Fort Myers Beach. It never reached hurricane status. Fay is expected to continue in a north-northeasterly direction throughout Tuesday, passing near Orlando, and entering the Atlantic as a tropical depression off Florida's northeastern coast early Wednesday. So, goodbye, Faye, and thanks for the rain.
