The non distressed sale continues to dominate the Clermont Florida Real Estate Market. If you look at the stats below, traditinal sales also went up in price as well. The market is continuing to move to a sellers market. REO/Bank Owned sales continues a downward trend, which is very good for the traditional seller. Closed Short Sales stayed pretty steady. Today was kind of a slow day, so I decided to just drive around Clermont Florida and enjoy the winter (well I say winter, I was actually in jeans and a tshirt) weather. I took a few pictures while I was out. Hope you enjoy them.   This is Lake Minneola. One of several lakes in the Clermont Chain of Lakes. The tall white thing you see sticking up is the Citrus Tower. It was one of Lake County's first "attraction". The white sandy area to the right is Jaycee Beach. There they have grills for cooking out, playground, volleyball nets and a covered pavilion. I'm sure by now, most cities have one. That one guy who is extremely talented in making Christmas lights. Here is Clermont Florida, we have Jay. You've seen people who light up their houses and make them dance, but this guy lights up Clermont's Citrus Tower. Yeah, I said it, a tower. 226 feet high. This tower:   I would encourage you to check this out. The lights dance to Christmas music. After you're done watching, buy a ticket and ride to the top of the tower and take a look. It's breathtaking. The show starts every night during the holiday's at 6:00PM and ends at 9:00PM. If I haven't convinced you yet to go see this show. I attribute this to lenders working a little faster to get these short sales closed before the Debt Forgiveness Act expires on December 31, 2012. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to do something for the first time in my life. I am 36 years old and have lived in  Clermont Florida for most of my life. The Lakeridge Winery has been opened in Clermont since 1989. I have driven by this place thousands of times and never stopped to check it out. A large part of the reason, is that I am not a wine drinker and never really had a desire to go. However, I wanted to educate myself and try something in Clermont that I have never done before.
