Bargain Homes are Almost Gone in Central Florida! We are almost back to a neutral market in Central Florida. That is a neutral market for less expensive homes in nice areas. I have several clients looking to buy in the $125k - $200k range, and a few in the $200k - $300k+ range. Unfortunately with all the past bargains that flooded the market in the last 1/4 of 2008 and the first 1/4 of 2009. Buyers are waiting for the next round of foreclosures and short sales. Hopefully they are not coming!  Hopefully the lenders are making deals to keep people in their homes. We all hate to see someone kicked out of their home!!! NOW WHAT ? How do we get buyers to re-think what they can buy?  The materials cost more than the asking price! Homes listed at $60 a SqFt like new!
