The Third Annual Cape Canaveral Art Festival, Mar, 28-29, 2009. It’s still pretty basic but my wife and I like it and we've been to all three. It a great opportunity to meet both locals and tourists and of course, hand out a few business cards :-). You can't beat Cape Canaveral's location with the ocean on one side, the Banana River Lagoon on the other and it's less than an hour to Orlando and the attractions. NASA chose to launch the Space Shuttle here in part, becuase of the low incidence of storm damage. River and ocean view condos are a bargain right now so come on down or send your clients. I took these photos on Wednesday after my evening bike ride. We haven't had many clouds lately and I liked the effect. Every night the colors change the sky and paint a new picture. It's inspiring and comforting to know that I can walk 2 minutes down the road at the end of each day and witness nature at it's finest. I took this photo of these tangled trees in the Church yard down the road in Cape Canaveral, Florida. SCARY STUFF!! I doctored it in Photo Draw using the X 4 effect only and this is what turned out. I think it looks like something from the movie "Preditor". I wonder if there's any magic emanateting from this thing. I'll take the photo with me on my next showings and let you know. June 8, 2007, Atlantis was finally launched from Cape Canaveral to service the space station.  This was a great opportunity to share our love of flight and space with Michelle, since she had never been to a space shuttle launch before.  Following is her writing on the space shuttle launch experience.......... On Friday the 8th, a space shuttle was to take flight after being delayed and damaged do to a hail storm. The mission was and still is to make it to the space center out in orbit, and deliver the second and third starboard truss segments and another pair of solar arrays to the space station.
