Bonita Beach Sea Shells This is just a great reminder for me to go to Bonita Beach.  Sadly, I take it for granted. I live a mere two miles away and I can't tell you the last time I went to see it, walk on the short, watch the sun go down. I'm putting an alert in my calendar to go or it won't happen. Bonita Beach has several accesses on Hickory Boulevard which offer free parking.  Just look for the "flag" hanging near the parking area.  After 5:00 p.m.  the Barefoot Beach Preserve doesn't charge entry fees.
