Peace, Love and Horseshoe Crabs, Slaughter Beach, Delaware The Second Annual Peace, Love and Horseshoe Crab Festival will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Location is the DuPont Nature Center; from 9:00 - 4:00; rain or shine. The festival celebrates the annual migration of the red knot birds from Brazil to Canada. One of their stops is along Delaware's shoreline of the Delaware Bay. They feed on the horseshoe crab eggs to fuel up for the next leg of their long journey.     There will be activities for everyone; food, crafts and vendors and an Estuary Eco Challenge for Kids.
