SCOOP up an Ice Cream in Wilton, CT with "SCOOPS !!!" The shop has been around for many many years! Wilton Scarecrow Contest - Barbara Corcoran  She needed to be a character from a movie or TV show.                                   One of our agents, Elizabeth Walsh, put in a lot of time finding the clothes, shoes, necklace, creating her face, signs, and then everytime there was a windy day, she seemed to lose something - face, signs, nose, etc. She shopped Goodwill for the dress, shoes, necklace, tights, and then made her face on the pumpkin.     Then the pumpkin rotted.  The face fell and broke into 40 pieces.  The wind blew and removed all of the signs.   Thank goodness she stayed dressed!   She has been put back together many times, but is still on display.   Lots of fun!!! 10/26/2014

Our Scarecrow Entry for the Wilton Scarecrow For The Lamp Posts Contest  - Guess Who?   This is a fun contest every year, and I have always been too busy to be able to enter.    This year, Elizabeth Walsh, one of my agents with a great imagination and a huge pile of creativity, asked me if we as an office wanted to enter.     I said, "Sure!  Why not?   I have wanted to for the last 3 years, but never did."   Elizabeth took the bull by the horns, and just got it going.  We had some ideas each about what it should be -   Rules were that it had to be a movie or TV character, so that at least narrowed it down some.      Lots of other rules - how big a sign, stuffed with what, etc..     It had to be ready by this past Thursday, but the materials were not ready for pick up until Tuesday.  (Ba... 10/19/2014

Going Above and Beyond is Normal but FUN! I received a call from a gentleman the other day with a very thick accent.  He was hard to understand because of his accent and he had a carload of very noisy kids, but he was able to communicate to me through words here and there that I could pick up on - he had found a dog, was in Ganby, VT, and wanted to locate the owner.    He assumed the owners were in Ganby for the long weekend, and their dog had gotten loose somehow.    He then gave me the address, and asked if I knew them at all.    He was panicking a little, because it was the Monday afternoon of this past holiday weekend. What a sunset tonight in Westport, CT 06880 - Wow!  After I left the Hospital in Norwalk tonight, and drove my husband home, I drove to Westport to have a quick drink with a friend who had just returned from Greece.   I simply went into shock as I walked out onto her deck with my glass of wine.      Within 10 minutes, the sky had transformed! Dagny's Real Estate was a premier sponsor for the Touch a Truck event in Wilton, CT - right up on School Road.    Date: September 13, 2014. Hours: 11-3 pm  at Middlebrook School There were fire engines, ambulances, dump trucks, mail trucks, moving trucks, etc - every kind of truck imagineable!   There was a silent hour from 11-12  when no horns will be sounded.   This was to give sensitive children or people a chance to come and enjoy.
