The Cross Atop the Hill, Holy Land in Waterbury CT A landmark on Pine Hill in Waterbury CT is back, larger than ever and should stand there for along time. The Cross on Pine Hill at Holy Land was erected this weekend just in time for Christmas. For many years the site was the area for pilgrims from all over to come and appreciate the symbolic representation of the bible in miniature. December Cloudburst Challenge Paying It Forward   The Christmas Holiday season is most hectic, and it is easy to overlook those that have very little. We have been cleaning out the closets to make a run to some local shelters. We are packed and ready to take articles of clothing to the St. Vincent DePaul Shelter in Waterbury CT. The shelter is run by local churches and operates a homeless shelter, soup kitchen, a thrift store and social services. They are most appreciative of any donations of used clothing and at the soup kitchen, they are always ready to receive the clean surplus foods of events.   We had the trunk ready to also take goods to Carolyn's Place, another non-profit organization that supports non-planned pregnancy. A Successfully Closed Short Sale in Waterbury CT   Today we finalized the process to help a distressed Waterbury CT home-owner to avoid foreclosure with the closing of their short sale.
