A post by Amy Hahn  yesterday on socializing with fellow real estate professionals hit a chord with me especially as our local board has been doing just that for years.Once a month we have a planned social gathering at a local restaurant, (Lounge actually). We all get excited about anniversaries. It is a milestone that attests to the perseverance and dedication we put into a portion of our lives.  It can be a special birthday;  a recognition of years on a job; time sent doing something special like bogging and of course the celebration of a coupe's commitment to each other. Such was the case for our family this past week, as we celebrated the 70th wedding anniversary of my parents, Joseph and Laura Silva. They were married in Cambridge MA on April 27, 1946.
