We all get excited about anniversaries. It is a milestone that attests to the perseverance and dedication we put into a portion of our lives.  It can be a special birthday;  a recognition of years on a job; time sent doing something special like bogging and of course the celebration of a coupe's commitment to each other. Such was the case for our family this past week, as we celebrated the 70th wedding anniversary of my parents, Joseph and Laura Silva. They were married in Cambridge MA on April 27, 1946. The songs had a Holiday tone, but the words were strange to me.  As I was getting over to the cashier's area a cluster of children and adults caught my eye. It may not be 1313 Mockingbird Lane or 0001 Cemetery Lane but the lawn decorations are ghoulish and will cause many a youngster reason to fear walking up for candy on Halloween. The decorations started to be put out in August, or at least that's when the ground out front appeared to be freshly dug for some reason.  These arrivals kept people off the lawn maybe serving as a diversion for what might lie beneath.  I could only chat briefly with the husband who claimed his wife has been out of the country for a few months now, having left sometime in late July.The house is on Edgewood Ave in Waterbury CT.  Very easy to find, just take the first right before the cemetary. Halloween Decorations That Just Scream at You in Waterbury CT 10/22/2015
