VET FEST D'VILLE WATERBURY, CT JULY 31, 2010 On Saturday, July 31, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. the Waterbury Veterans' Memorial Committee sponsored the first Vet Fest D'Ville at Waterville Park in the Waterville neighborhood of Waterbury, CT. The event, designed primarily as a Waterville-Waterbury, CT neighborhood block party, attracted people from across the area as tribute was paid to those Marines and other servicemen from the area who have given their lives in service to their country.The event was also a draw for Waterville, CT residents to meet and mingle with each other, and to enjoy good food and music, and to help the Waterbury Veteran's Memorial Committee to raise funds for many of the projects that the Committee participates in.
