STRATFORD Market Trends September 2012 Stratford’s is still a Buyer’s Market with 7 Months Supply of inventory for the 12 month period, which is close to a balanced market (6 months supply is balanced and less than 6 months is a Seller’s Market). In fact, the 3 Months figure shows 5.9 months of inventory, so Stratford is moving closer to a balanced market. In retrospect, Stratford’s real estate market appears to have hit bottom in Q1 2012 and is now in recovery. However, the signals remain mixed. There has been no real upward trend in prices, but inventory is decreasing and the number of sales has been increasing.
