First Snow in New Fairfield, CT  The "S" word is here, in New Fairfield, CT...We've had our glorious warm fall weather and now we have very early snow. It's a bit surreal as some of the leaves are still green or yellow. Only the evergreens look like they are in their element.  The grasses, including bamboo, don't look very happy. The heavy branches of deciduous trees laden with heavy snow on top of their full leaves are at risk for breaking. No power outages, please!            Let it snow! Oops, it's raining...
