McCue Mortgage has a Hall of Famer!  McCue Mortgage First Executive Vice President, Frank Haran was recently inducted into the New England Mortgage Bankers Association Hall of Fame. Frank joined McCue Mortgage in 1983, and heads our Whole Sale Department.  Frank's 39 years in the Mortgage Industry has made him one of the most knowledgeable people that I know in our industry, and a great resource for McCue Mortgage. Frank is a founding Officer and member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA), which he helped to create in 1984.  Frank served as the CMBA's President from 1986 to 1988, and he has been the manager of the CMBA's Legislation Committee.  Frank also works closely with the Connecticut Department of Banking and the Connecticut Legislature...

Hopefully my dentist doesn't take offense to the title. Dr. Ted, you and your staff are first class, and make every trip to your office as easy and painless as a 1 lien GMAC short sale. If you ever need a dentist in Connecticut, I highly recommend Thaddeus S. Michalski DMD in Rocky Hill, CT. FHA short sales as a whole are very predictable, and should not be rocket science for any lender. Well in this case it seems to be that way with McCue...rocket science short sales. There was some lack of knowledge on the negotiators part regarding closing costs ( easily overcome ), communication was difficult at times ( not the negotiators fault entirely, she's probably underpaid and overworked ), and then there were the major flaws in McCues policies and procedures that were just RIDICULOUS! ( Not...

The public is invited to walk the garden and experience the serene effect of the surround of peaceful, relaxing sound ideal for a rose garden ...

3 lien short sale success with Midland mortgage, CHIF, and a partial claim in a pear tree! :-)   This particular client had already had a loan modification ( a HUD partial claim ). As has been my experience with most loan modifications, it is often too little too late. The great " favor " and " modification " for this particular client was for Midland mortgage to file a partial mortgage insurance claim to bring the borrower current. What does this do? It takes all the money that the borrower was behind and tacks it onto the end of the loan. Some favor eh? So it was really no surprise to the client or myself that he was having financial difficulty again. The " loan modification " did nothing to fix the problem. Reduced hours at work and increased expenses. Desparate for help, I received ...

When we think of credit card debt, we often think the student who is swimming in credit card debt after years of paying for meals, books, and other college expenses that loans failed to cover or the middle class family who carries credit card debt while struggling to keep up with bills and other demands. Often overlooked is the demographic that actually accounts for more than 20 percent of all bankruptcy filings – the elderly. Alarmingly, the number of people 55 and over who are either drowning in credit card debt, filing bankruptcy, or suffering from poor credit is growing. Eileen Soherty, the director of the Colorado Gerontological Society says “[senior’s are using credit] for gasoline, they’re using it for food, they’re using it for prescriptions, they’re using it for copayments.” Do...

EAST SIDE RESTAURANT   131 Dwight Street New Britain, CT 06051 There are so many Italian, Chinese, and fast food restaurants around in Connecticut. There is only ONE great German Restaurant and that is the East Side Restaurantin New Britian CT.  This restaurant is very family friendly, and they are always in a good mood... maybe it is all the beer???? I've been here a few times, and it never seizes to amaze me on how wonderful the food is.  The Sauerbraten and the German Pot Roast are my favorites.  If you are looking to be entertained while eating this restaurant won't let you down.  The backroom is for banquets and large parties, there are  100's of glass beer steins hanging from the ceiling, and if you order a BIG beer you will hear "Ticki Tocki Ticki Tocki... Hoy! Hoy! Hoy!" You fee...

Trying to get all these things in my coaching plan done.  I go into the tracker and post my stats daily.  The corporate-business lunches are making me step out of my zone, but, they are getting done.  On Wednesday, I attended a corporate luncheon at our local minor league baseball park.  It seemed odd to go into the ballpark without my family and without casual clothes on.  The event was held in one of the ballpark suites, which overlook the playing field.  Workers were busy out there, readying the field for the night's game.  The president of the league spoke and thanked us for our participation and support.  One of the sponsor's offered a few door prizes.  Would you believe gas cards?  They were an insurance company.  At my table sat, three people who represented The Pack Rat Storage ...
