The annual Black Rock Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at5 pm at the Brewster Street Flagpole.   The Wassail Party at the Norden Club immediately follows the ceremony and will be for BRCC members only so please join today!  Memberships will be available the evening of the event.  The BRCC will be collecting coats and food at the Tree Lighting on December 5th for the Black Rock Food Pantry.  Visit the Black Rock Community Council website at www.blackrockcc.org for membership information.

November 12, 2010 by admin edit comment CVS will be offering flu shots at the Black Rock Branch Library on Tuesday, November 16th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.  CVS will bill your insurance provider; just bring insurance co-payment. Otherwise, the cost is $29.95. Flu shots are available to anyone 18 years of age or older.   Everyone getting a flu shot will also receive a free CVS goodie bag.
