               This upcoming Thursday October 18, there will be an informational group activity in Highlands Ranch with a large focus on the hobby of Geocaching. Geocaching is a real-world treasure hunt that’s happening around the clock in real time.  It is happening right near you this very instance.  Using your smartphone with the app enabled, you will travel to coordinates to find hidden boxes, or caches, of items.  Once discovered you mark them as found in your app and decide to leave a trinket or take one that’s in the cache.  This is up to you of course.  Depending on what is in there and what you would like to leave for the next people to find. We are having our first snow here in Highlands Ranch.  In Highlands Ranch property management, this first snow always ushers in Fall/Winter and a torrent of maintenance calls.  We send out a newsletter in advance of blowing out the sprinklers, due to the high probability of the first cold days following thereafter.  We always try to have people turn on their furnaces before the cold days come in.  You don’t want to wait until the first cold day to determine that your furnace isn’t working correctly.  HVAC vendors are often swamped at the beginning of the cold season and letting them get out to the property before a freeze is ideal.  We always have our tenants make sure they are replacing their furnace filters, especially if they haven’t done so since the summer.  We usually have more ti...
