In my world of Highlands Ranch real estate, $300,0000 seems to have been the magic number this week.  I have had numerous inquiries regarding homes around that price range, I have shown numerous homes around that number and I took a listing right about there as well. So I thought with that in mind I would take a closer look at what Highlands Ranch homes are available around the $300,000 mark. I have always enjoyed supporting High School athletics since living in Highlands Ranch.  Congrats to the High Schools in Highlands Ranch that are going to the Final Four Basketball brackets for the 5A division this week.   For the boys, ThunderRidge High School will be playing Palmer this Thursday 3/13 at 8:30 pm at the Coors Event Center at CU Boulder.   The winner will advance to the finals on Saturday 3/15.   And for the girls, we are talking some serious cross town competition.  Highlands Ranch High School will play ThunderRidge High School in the Final Four this Wednesday night at 8:00 pm, also at the Coors Event Center.  The winner will advance to the finals on Friday night 3/14.     Here are some links to related media reports for more information: State Basketball Tournaments U... 03/09/2008

Recently I had the opportunity to visit and tour the BackCountry community, which is the new gated community located in Highlands Ranch on the south side of WildCat Reserve Parkway at Broadway.  I do have a Denver home buyer that is going to be visiting next month and he was hoping to see some additional photos of what was available in the Highlands Ranch new construction real estate market.       The construction for the Back County is well under way and already some homes are complete with many more to come.         Most of the Homes in the BackCountry are built by Shea homes and start in the $500,000's and the custom homes (by a variety of builders) will go well past the $1 million mark.  The BackCountry is one of the last of the larger communities being built in Highlands Ranch and ... 03/09/2008
