Boettcher Mansion in Golden, CO Did you know that Colorado is home to a number of Great Stone Castles? It is true! Turn it Up! at the Golden History Center Now on view at the Golden History Center is Turn it Up! This ongoing musical experience features a variety of special and unique instruments. Clear Creek in Golden Part 1 Beautiful, Clear Creek runs right through downtown Golden. It then heads toward the Coors Brewing Company, and North East to connect with Platte River. Golden is lucky to have an 800 feet section that highlights great areas for tubing, kayaking, panning, fishing, and wading. Created in 1998, the Clear Creek park  has a series of drops and pools of different experience levels and has some fast eddies. The middle and bottom sections have more extreme surf waves and drops with huge random boulders.
