No one seems to have a real grasp of what Led Zeppelin meant in the infamous “Stairway to Heaven”, but when I awoke this morning to rows of hedges covered in beautiful dusty spring snow I could only think of it as is “spring clean” for the “may queen”; casting a cleansing hush over the earth before the small flowers and animals of spring arrive.   We have been up in a small northern Colorado town called “Berthoud” for the weekend. Our plans to return home today were fortunately (yes, thank you snow!) delayed as hours of driving back down to the city seemed less than appealing.
